As another reader has intimated, it's surprising that werehorses haven't been used much in stories before.The writing is ho-hum. The story should have been longer. It has no emotion, no real storyline. So much more could have been wrung out of this little story.
Still, I've given an extra star rating for the unusual plotline.

I liked the story , its a good morning read to wake you up. I would like to see more from this title.
I got the story on a whim. Lance is a recent hire who's excited to start the job of a lifetime at Lucky Day Ranch. The sex scenes are hot, though it's dub-con for those that are sensitive to that. Worth the read
I enjoyed this story. Quick to the point ,easy to accomplish. Left room to explore other stories. Keeps you wanting more.

Yes I would. this book was really great, the characters were were developed enough to really get a feel for the story. world building though limited was great. would recommend to any anyone.
Quick, novella about a shifter ranch. Felt like a lot of information was missing. Short stories I think are harder as they hold the same expectations.
I don't know what I was expecting when the blurb said gay werehorses. This wasn't it. If you're expecting beast on human contact, find something else. This is still a hot but all too short read. 4 stars because I prefer longer reads.
I've always wondered if there were any books on werehorses, since I've read about many types of shifters, including a moose, then Lo' and behold, I find this one so I had to read it. It was definitely unique. Lance gets a new job at this ranch and has to deal with, Ace, the stallion hellion. I wish that this was a much longer read because I'd definitely like to know the history of Ace, and the other shifters. I see that it's a series so I will be getting the next book. I can't resist. It was a gripping short read with a nice smooth pace. )
